LGS LTD is a security company, which operates a range of security services in Africa. These cover the spectrum of likely services, from consultancy, to training and risk analysis, to static and mobile security, and also crisis management but the list is not exhaustive. LGS first became engaged with Stena Drilling in 2006. This was when they were previously named Libertine Security Solutions, and following that Libertine Global Solutions. The first contract was during our 2006 – 2007 Nigeria Drilling Campaign, working out of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Since then, LGS have provided us with security solutions around the globe and are currently supporting our operations in Mauritania, West Africa. Over the past 7 years, LGS have proved to be professional and efficient providing day to day personnel and asset security, crew change support and various security services relating to Stena personnel. Equally of note, is their strict adherence to safety rules and procedures. LGS also provided on site training for our local agent’s drivers, along with Local Mobile Police, Mo Pol and have formed a close working relationship with both our agent and local Police Force. We continue to use LGS for our world-wide security solutions and have no hesitation in recommending them to any organisation that operates in potentially hostile environments"

LGS have been fundamental in ensuring that SBM Offshore have a zero security incident rating over that past 5 years that LGS have been providing our company with their security services in Nigerian waters. Our offshore vessels have nothing but praise for the professionalism carried out by LGS Security personnel in what is still a difficult environment to operate. Even when we ask of near impossible requests, LGS have the “Will do” attitude which gets the jobs done. LGS will be providing security services for SBM Offshore including our training requirements for our FPSO/FSO Fleet for a long time to come.
